OshSU Instructor Alymkan Zhamshitbekova Achieves Recognition in an International Competition

In Ust-Kamenogorsk, Kazakhstan, Alymkan Zhamshitbekova, a faculty member from the interfaculty department of physical education No. 1 at Osh State University, secured a silver medal and received an $800 cash prize at the IV International competition dedicated to the Olympic champion Olga Rypakova. Zhamshitbekova competed in the 800 meters category for women.

To participate in this international event, athletes had to undergo pre-accreditation, and only those capable of meeting specific performance criteria were invited. The organizing committee covered all expenses related to the transportation and accommodation of participating athletes, as highlighted by Almaz Kazibekov, the coach and lecturer at Osh State University.

The IV International competition dedicated to Olga Rypakova saw the involvement of over 300 athletes hailing from Kyrgyzstan, Uzbekistan, Georgia, Turkey, Armenia, Belarus, Ukraine, Tajikistan, and Kazakhstan.
